International Women’s Day

5/3
is our day…today I choose to celebrate 5 phenominal women in my life those that are of both direct and indirect influence

MOM-(LUCY MBITHE)
She had to be first in this list.
Do you know of someone who’d literally
die for you? Well 18years ago I met one selfless woman. Who’s taught patience, love, kindness, lady hood (does such a word exist? ) and most importantly what family means.
There’s no word that can describe how lovely and strong you are. Given up a lot to make my dad, me brother and sister happy without complaining.
Mum this international women’s day wouldn’t pass without saying something about you to the whole world.
If I have a chance to choose who’s my mother in my next life it will definitely be you
p.s It’s not yet mothers day
p.s.s I love you

2) Lucy Nduva

I have this awesome aunt who’s amazing. A second mother to me who on every opportunity she’s always in Nairobi to say “hello”
Always there for me. Perfect sense of humour that we share.
She’s taught me a lot. Back in class one I couldn’t tell the difference between ‘nest’ & ‘next’ she did teach me that of course after some slippers canning but am grateful.
I would never be the same without you in my life dear aunty.
Happy international women’s day:)

Sheryl Sandberg
One wish- meet you in person. You are such a life saver.
What would I do if I was not afraid? You opened my eyes through your book ‘lean in’.
2015 couldn’t get any better

I reread your book whenever I get a chance. It has been the truth… and only the truth. Still in school and I’d want gender equality and justice when I get to the work place but you made me realise it starts long before that. I will voice out when I have to.
Thank you.

Terryane chebet

(still looking for the correct words to describe her)
Talk of established and still moving. When I grow up I really want to be like her. Running a beauty line, media personality ,CEO, happy mother and much more than I can write…

She may never get to see or read this but I will forever remain indebted to her motivation and inspiration to keep moving…that it’s possible to get there..

I highly admire you miss Terry (lady maverick) you’ve taught me a lot (branding myself) and you continue to enlighten me each day.

Thank you
you are worth a celebration this women’s day

MISS I
Daaaaaaaaaaamn I can never be prouder to be from the same school she goes. I haven’t seen someone this determined to make it happen without fear ♡♡♡♡

Dear Miss I you’re a true inspiration…your advice highly valued.
FYI it’s Esther Kinuthia am talking about…top 40 waaaaaay under 40 lady.
Your accomplishments this young are amazing…I really look up to you

I just couldn’t let this day pass
Happy international women’s day:)

P.s when I grow up I want to be like you ;);)

《RESOLUTIONS CHECK¿¿》

1) am
2)
3)
4)
5)

almost everyone lan relate with such a list at least once a year……It could be longer or shorter..All of it is highly valid no matter what it is not unless its unreasonable I mean you can’t be Kenyans next president when the next elections are in 2017

January 1st & December chacterised with us all figuring out what we will different, what new thing we will do basically how far we’ll go to change the world hehe!!! (I mean we all want to be superheroes/heroines??))

How many of us make a follow up 2months later to see how far they are with their new year plans?
So one of your resolutions was to visit all counties come 2015, how many have you visited so far?
The first quarter of the year is almost over….how far are you with all your new year plans!!!

The fact that we make plans and do not follow up to see them in lighthappens to all of us…the difference that prevails is how much you did try to get there.

Whatever you do today adds up till December 2015. .let every choice we make be a stepping stone to achieving our set 2015resolutions don’t let this beautiful day go to waste. .. Every second counts what have you achieved so far speak up Sweetheart¤¤

DECISIONS

It’s Tuesday already still gambling should I cut my hair and keep it short should I retouch it then strawseset or should I just go afro natural hair? ??? This is my indecisivenestrust me any guy reading this post ain’t getting nothing but all am saying is as much as being a chiq is all fancy and cute yeeees all fancy and cute it comes with a lot of everyday very hard decisions !!

I am not of the opinion that ddudes don’t have hard decisions to make am just saying if I had been a boy I’d be a better expert at knowing this;) 😉 *wink* Do I ever wish I was a dude;) yeah only once a month though hehe

We all have hard decisions to make every day every minute of our long good and bad days. Very early you have to decide whether to wake up and go to work or school or stay in bed call in sick or ask someone to sign in for you for that one lecture.. decisions are part of our everyday life. Right or wrong we still have to make them life is all about deciding is it right or left? Front or behind?

Quite unfair is one simple fact that ;
You can make all right decisions in life, be the good girl/boy like always
Never disappointed your parents like ever =good grades, no alcohol, no weed , no teenage pregnancy, never missed a single lecture and all that you can think of but honestly life still f**** you up….. All am saying is making all right decisions is never good enough but we still have to make them.
FYI I am not an expert in life but my 18years have taught me this

AFRAID?

So  I am reading this wonderful book Lean In by sheryl sandberg.  The current  C.O.O Chief operations Officer of Facebook.

One question she asks or rather states is WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WERE NOT AFRAID ?

after reading that it dawned to me that fear holds all of us back. There are a lot of things we’d want to do but simply because we’re afraid we hold back. We stop to think what will others say or think about us if we do it, we stop for a moment which turns into forever to think what if it’s not worth it, we pause and all we can see is failure at the end and once again fear holds us back.

I have been a victim of this, I still am a victim of this but guess what I decided to stop second guessing myself. I have decided to stop thinking about what you will think if I contributed, objected, made a joke or simply disagreed with what you think…..

I like what I like

.

That’s my today’s motto. Today choose not to be scared to stand up. ..before any holding back simply ask yourself “am I holding back because am afraid? “if your answer is yes…just do it it’s a worthy cause trust me.

Don’t hold back because you’re afraid, don’t hold back because of what they gonna say don’t hold back because  they don’t like you…Like what you like , stand for what you believe do it all that you could do if you were not afraid. #MondaySpirit

BEAUTY OF WRITTEN WORD♥

I have a beautiful story to tell, A great story indeed About a paper. . Softcopy or physical but the beauty remains the same. A paper gives all of us space to be alone alone to pour out and express you paper gives space A paper will never judge your feelings expressed in your writing, It only listens, helps you let it all out completely… talk all you want, shout all you want say all you want, Correctness of your words never matter, Only you being set free matters for the paper it’s selfless-needs no return favour to be listened always there to listen to your successes, woes, laughs, cries Never critics, never shouts to the world about your problems, secrets and joys it will only listen♥. It’s the beauty of the paper

All of us who understand this we use it…
